Oliver James

Saturday 14th October 11:45 - 12:45 | Northwood House

Renowned child clinical psychologist, author and broadcaster, Oliver James, talks about his controversial book, Not in Your Genes, which argues that our genes play very little part in shaping who we are. James challenges prevailing myths and uncovers the truth about genetics, claiming that almost all psychological differences between us are the result of our environment and upbringing.

Using illustrations from Upping Your Ziggy: How David Bowie Faced His Childhood Demons – and How You Can Face Yours, his talk will change the way you think about yourself and the people around you – and give you the courage to make changes in your life you thought were beyond your control.
