Cat’s Grin Theatre

Founded in 1997, Cat’s Grin entertains, educates and enlightens children aged 3 – 13 through original stage adaptations of classic literature and curriculum friendly topics.  Touring schools, theatres, historic venues, public and private events,  productions include Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Wind in the Willows, Around the World in 80 Days and Aesop’s Fables.  Since 2013, Cat’s Grin has presented Pop Up Shakespeare around the grounds of Polesden Lacey, the National Trust property in Surrey. Last year Pop Up Scandal – scenes from Sheridan – was launched.

Tales from Shakespeare – seventy minutes, three plays, three actors – played to four colleges in two days at last year’s IWLF. In August 2017, the Company presents this show at the Children’s Theatre Festival in Norwich.  In Autumn 2017, the Company is working with children from four schools in Cowes on a special presentation about ORP Blyskawica. Cat’s Grin is delighted to be performing at the Literary Festival again in 2017.
