Brough Scott MBE

Brough Scott is one of the best known figures in racing and sport. A graduate of both Oxford University and of 100 winners, as an amateur and professional jockey he then for 30 years presented all the major races in the UK and overseas for first ITV, then Channel 4 Racing – and recently back to ITV again! As a journalist for the Sunday Times, Independent on Sunday and Sunday Telegraph he has three times been Sports Feature Writer of The Year. He also still contributes to the Racing Post which he founded with Sheikh Mohammed in 1986. Brough has written ten books which include Galloper Jack, the critically acclaimed biography of his grandfather, General Seely, plus an updated version of his grandfather’s own book Warrior: The Amazing Story of a Real War Horse.
