Christopher Joll

Former Life Guards officer Christopher Joll was educated at Oxford University and RMA Sandhurst. Since 2000, Christopher has written and directed fund-raising events for military charities including the British Military Tournament, and, most recently, The Great War Symphony. He is also the author of Uniquely British, The Drum Horse in the Fountain, and the military action-adventure series The Speedicut Papers and The Speedicut Memoirs. His next book is Britannia’s Spoils: the Treasures, Trophies & Trivia of the British Empire, to be published in 2019. Christopher is the Regimental Historian of the Household Cavalry and a lecturer for Noble Caledonia cruises.
