Victoria Summerley

Victoria Summerley is an award-winning journalist and author. She is a former executive editor of The Independent and has also held senior positions on the Evening Standard and The Observer. A keen gardener, she opens her own garden for charity under the National Garden Scheme.

She quit Fleet Street (and London) in 2012 to live in the Cotswolds, and has since written three books: Secret Gardens of the Cotswolds, Great Gardens of London, and The Secret Gardeners, all published by Frances Lincoln.
