Fran Heath

Fran Heath is a writer and artist from the Isle of Wight (UK). Author of coming-of-age novel, Pencil Lead – a contemporary story about a young man whose expectations don’t match real life – and author/illustrator of children’s rhyming picture book, How We Choose to Play – the touching story about a sister and brother who see past the gender stereotyping of toys. Working on second novel, Five Things I Can See.

Maker of Dire-Ramas: boxed scenes created from found and made objects, assembled into some kind of sense. Illustrator of Unconscious Adventures: daily dream drawings using black ink on square paper. Painter of abstract and surrealist art.
