Caroline Davison is an East Anglian-based writer, historian and musician. Her non-fiction book The Captain’s Apprentice: Ralph Vaughan Williams and the Story of a Folk Song was published for Vaughan Williams’s 150th anniversary in 2022, and was Book of the Week on BBC Radio 4. Her other publications include a novel and a number of non-fiction essays. She has been a singer in bands and choirs since the age of 17.
