Cathy Gayner

Cathy Gayner trained as a calligrapher and gilder but has spent the last 50 years feeding friends and family in a remote farmhouse in SW France, lovingly restored by her husband Richard.
During Covid, when no funds could be raised for Age Unlimited, the charity she founded to support both the young and the old with grants for living expenses, she wrote Recipes from Le Rouzet, a collection of her quickest and easiest recipes, designed for when you have a houseful of guests and don’t want to spend time in the kitchen.
All proceeds from the book went to the charity, meaning that throughout the pandemic, it was able to continue its work.
