Actress Maureen Lipman, singer Norma Winstone, poet Jeremy Robson and a group of outstanding musicians bring the 2023 Isle Wight Literary Festival to an exciting finale with an original and highly entertaining programme not to be missed.
Apart from being one of Britain’s best-loved actresses, the award-winning Dame Maureen Lipman has written a number of bestselling books as well as witty and often hilarious monologues, several of which she will perform. She will also join acclaimed poet Jeremy Robson in reading from his latest highly praised collection Chagall’s Moon. They will be joined by the remarkable Norma Winstone MBE about whom The Times wrote:’ There is no singer in the country to touch her’. Recipient of many awards, Norma is famed for her thrilling ability to improvise vocally. She will also join Maureen Lipman in a surprise song or two! With Norma will be a group of the country’s finest musicians, featuring saxophonist Art Themen, pianist Nikki Iles, and bassist Dave Green.
